I am really glad that the choreographer, illusionist and director Maicon Clenk has used my composition ‘Tolworth’ as part of his fantastic show POLARIS.
About This Show:
The show is the world's first to take place literally inside a giant crystal globe, integrating magic, theater, acrobatics, dance, and music, and it will transport the audience into an enchanting atmosphere.
More than just beautiful, POLARIS is a sensitive and emotional story told with much fantasy and a universal language, the original illusionist theater, inspired by the intriguing mystery of reality and illusion, delicately addressing the inexplicable magic that permeates the lives of all beings. A child in its pure essence, struggling to cope with the brutality of human apathy, encounters POLARIS, a realm of ice inside a crystal globe, where fantastic creatures live, defying the supposed logic of human beings.
Filled with unique visual and special effects, it brings together skilled dancers and acrobats in elaborate costumes, set against a majestic scenography. The cast consists of artists from Brazil and around the world, with experience in some of the biggest international shows, such as Cirque du Soleil.
POLARIS is the winner of the ABRASCE trophy for "Best event in Brazil" and holds two Brazilian records as the "First show performed inside a globe" and "The largest globe in Brazil."
